Cannot configure Outlook to use a Web-based (HTTPS) e-mail account

I cannot configure Outlook to use a Web-based (HTTPS) e-mail account in
Windows Vista. At work, Outlook 2003 accesses email via an intranet. Away
from work, email is accessed via Internet Explorer and an https://etc address.

Is there a way to configure Outlook so I can pull down and answer these
emails via Outlook, rather than having to open IE?

TIA!

Outlook Web Access (HTTPS) is a part of Exchange and has nothing to do with
Outlook.

What your are describing is web based access to your Exchange mailbox. This
is not possible using Outlook.

Thank you, Milly! Not the answer I wanted, but at least I'm not chasing my
tail on something that can't be done...
