Cannot Change Display Name

I know how you are supposed to be able to change your
name as it appears to others, but for some reason that
field is "grayed out" as being uneditable. What's the
trick? Right now to access this setting I right click my
user name, then properties, then "Change Name as It
appears To Others."

Greetings Roland,

It's grayed out because your e-mail address is not verified. You'll need to verify your
e-mail address with Passport in order to change your name. To do so, simply click the
verification link in the verification e-mail that should come within 48 hours of signing up
your e-mail address as a Passport.

If it's already been 48-hours, you can request another verification e-mail from Passport
Services:
