Cannot Add/Remove Windows Components

Just upgraded to XP pro from 98 SE and can't add/remove Windows Components
(with or without Windows XP CD). Error message is "setup library iis.dll"
can't be found or can't be loaded. "The application could not be
initialized". Any ideas? Thanks.

To resolve this issue and remove a program from the
Add/Remove Programs tool in Control Panel, reinstall
the program, and then uninstall it.

An application carried over from 98SE has been removed by Add/Remove
Programs, re-installed, and uninstalled. This did not affect ability to
add/remove Windows components. Any other thoughts. Thanks.

Insert your Windows XP CD in the CD drive and follow the menu
to add additional Windows XP components.
