I am attempting to set up my news reader in Outlook 2003.

I am on an exchange server. However, I have access to a nntp server via an
outside provider.

In following the instructions on how to add a command to the Go menu, I am
unable to drag the "News" button to the "Go" Menu. There is a small "x"
attached to the news button upon making this attempt.

Any help at all is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply.

Outlook Express is set as the default newsreader.

I've followed all the instructions that I have seen here as well as other
support resources.

I have just determined that I can't drag and drop ANY commands to the Go menu.

Any other ideas?

Reset your Toolbar by renaming outcmd.dat to outcmd.old and see if it works
now.
