Cannot Acquire IP Address

My Window crashed and since then it cannot acquire an IP address succesfully.
I have tried to have Window to repair this. But it just kept trying to
acquire an IP but never was able to. IP is currently on 0.0.0.0.

I have checked the TCP/IP setting and currently it is set on "obtain IP (and
DNS) address automatically".

What else should I check? Can anyone help??
 
do you have a restore point you can go back to from before the
crash?

if this does not solve the problem, need significantly more details.
did you install something new? have you checked for viruses/trojans,
etc.? what changed in your environment?

what is in the event logs?
