Hi,
I've got a laptop XP Pro that I'am trying to connect to a stationary Win 98
SE. I'm linking them throu a D-Link wireless router (Win98 w cable, XP Pro
wireless).
The XP Pro is part of a domain at my work, so I've named my stationary
domain with the same name.
I'm using these Protocols:
W98: Client for MS networking
TCP/IP
File and Printer sharing
MS logon client (translated from swedish)
XP: Client for MS networking
TCP/IP
File and Printer sharing
From W98, I can access and get files from the XP Pro, but when I'm trying to
access the W98 (which I can see in the network) - there is a prompt for a
password when I log on as "W98name/Guest". I cannot alter the
user"W98name/Guest", and I cannot access the W98, because it doesn't accept
any password.
How can I access my W98 (where my printer and files are), without password
prompting?
Thx for any help!!!
