I need help, I'm running Windows XP Professional, logged on as the administrator. I cannot access my system properties. I have tried right clicking "my computer", then selecting properties, I've tried going into help and support, then clicking the link, and I've tried system tools. Is there a command that I can type in "Run" to get to it. What happened and how do I get to those properties. The console I need to access is the one with the General Tab (Processor speed, installed memory) System restore, Automatic updating etc...Thank you for any help.
Please e-mail me at (e-mail address removed)

How about clicking on START/CONTROL PANEL/SYSTEM ?
Can you get into the settings this way ?

No I cannot access by control panel/system. The answer by Ken Wickes, did allow me to access it, however it would not run from the "Run" dialog box. I had to do a search by "Find Files", then click on the file (sysdm.cpl) in the results. Thanks for your assistance, at least I can access it. Does anyone know why it will not work through NORMAL procedures?

Does c:\windows\system32 exist in your PATH environment variable?
