Cannot access mcafee download site

Cannot access mcafee download.
help, I’ve paid online for virus scan , but each time I try to access
the site to download, it comes up cannot access, cookie probs etc,
I’ve deleted cookies, deleted temp files , reset defaults but no joy,
could it b the win xp pro. firewall?
