In my home I have 2 computers networked. Before I reformatted, both
machines networked fine. After reformatting, the guest computer cannot
access any of the files on the host computer. Each computer can see other
and it's files. The host computer CAN access the files on the guest
computer, but the guest computer cannot access any shared files on the host
computer.
On the guest computer, when one clicks on a shared file listed on the host
computer's shared file list, the following error message pops up:
"[file name] is not accessible. You might not have permission to use
this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out
if you have access permnissions. Not enough server storage is
available to process this command."
There is only one user on each computer. Each is administrator. No guest
accounts. The shared files have the sharing box checked as well as the box
allowing users to change files.
Can anyone suggest a remedy so the host files can be accessed? Thanks.
