Cannot access application while accessing from terminal server.

I have a remote user that is access my network via VPN then terminal server.
Once he is on the terminal server, he cannot access the application that is
on it(a shortcut icon; he double click on the icon and get the error below).
I have others remote uses that is doing the same as him but was able to
successfully access the application. When I login as him on my computer, he
can access the same application (so I know that he does have the right
permission to the network drive where the application's data is located). He
permission is the same as others remoter user. His network account was
created by copying another remote account.

The error message is :
"windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not
have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

He may not have his CAL listed in the Terminal Server's list of computers
that have rights to connect.

How do I check on this? The terminal server that he is on is the same as the
other remote user use to get on. They have not problem getting the
application to work. Just him.

Is he a member of the security group(s) that have permission to run
the app?

Yes, as I have stated that if I logon as him on my pc. I can access the
application. But when I logon as him on the terminal server, he cannot run
the application.

That sounds like he's *not* a member of the groups that have
permission on the relevant folders where the app is stored.

His account was copy from another remote user profile. That remote user have
not problem but he is. I've double check his membership in groups and it's
the same as the remote user. I've also add him directly to the application
folder permission list with full access right, but the problem is still
there. Remember, he gets this problem only when login from the terminal
server only. If I use his logon on my pc, everything work fine.

Depending upon your configuration of the server, Access used to have a
reputation for corrupting on Terminal Servers. Turns out, it was
misconfigured. Each user needs to have their own folder which contains their
own copy of the front end. The data can reside in another folder, or even on
another server. Since my data is shared with both LAN and Terminal Server
users, I keep it on another server. So have your user log in and see if he
has permissions on his folder. You can put a simple text file in there to
test it. If he does, add a copy of the front -end. If not you have a server
problem.
