Can Word convert numbers to words in a language other than Englis.

I read the answers explaining how to convert numbers to words by using the
switch "\*CardText", but does this work in a language other than English?

It does if you apply the language of choice to the field then update the
field. Though my tests have not been exhaustive it does, however, appear to
require that you have the proofing language tools available for the language
in question..
