Can text overflow into a new slide?

As you're typing in a textbox, the text shrinks down to fit the text box(if
that setting is on) or the box just keeps getting bigger. Is there a way to
make the text "overflow" into a new slide? Or is this just asking too much of
PP?

EMaagSPR,
You are using PPT 2003?
In that case there should be a little icon appearing at the bottom of the
placeholder, it looks like two horizontal lines with two arrows pointing to
the lines (options for AutoFormat I think it is called). Click on that and
you can choose to continue on a new slide or devide over two slides.
Only works with placeholders though not with textboxes you draw.
