Can someone suggest...?

In my application, the majority of data is taken not from a database, but is
generated by the application itself.
Now before report generation I have to spread these data across tables for
the sake of a single report.
It's too inconvenient.
Is there a way to do it directly, or, ideally, visually?

What reporting tool are you using? Crystal/ActiveReports?

In most such reporting tools, you can use something other than System.Data
objects to populate your reports. The exact steps might differ though.

Hi, guys.

Sahil,
I was wondering why did you name only two reporting tools. Are they the
best ones? Recently I've come across ComponentSource's .NET reporting tools
comparison chart. It seems like there are better things like Report
Sharp-Shooter
1.8 by 9Rays.Net. I guess that this one is capable to do the things James
was
asking about in a more convenient way.
