Can't seem to get an answer in the word group
maybe someone here knows

I need to know how to make columns out of bulleted items WITHOUT
causing a new section to be created. This messes up my page formating,
footers, page numbering, etc.

° bullet one ° bullet three
° bullet two ° bullet four

thx

Have you tried columns for the selected area?

Hi Jim

Try typing the text with the paragraphs one under the other (don't
format with bullets yet). Then insert a table of the correct number of
rows and columns, e.g. for your example 2 x 2, at the point on the page
where you want the bulleted section.

Cut and paste each bullet point into its own cell, then select them all
and apply the bullet formatting. You can then size the table as you wish
and use Table Properties to align it, set space between columns, etc.

Hope this helps :-)

MSNews groups for "word" are likely to attract only
WORD97 mavens. You probably want MSN groups
for "office" (which are numerous.)

Highlight your bulleted list then choose from the menu TABLE/CONVERT/TEXT TO
TABLE. Enter the number of columns and that could do it .
