I have just changed from modem to adsl and since this i cannot send emails via outlook express 6, I am receiving them fine and have checked all my details etc from my isp but all seems ok

If I send mails to myself they work without problem, but will not send to anybody else.....the error message I get is below.

Server Response: '530 Delivery not allowed to non-local recipient, try authenticating', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 530, Error Number: 0x800CCC7

Please help if you can.....it is driving me crazy

Thanks

Gavin

Hi Gavin,

Click tools/accounts, click the mail tab. Click on your account, then on
properties. Go to the server tab, towards the bottom there is a line that
reads "my server requires authentication", try enabling it.

Hi Gavin,

Restarted OE yet? Verified settings against your ISP's supplied ones? Often,
when you switch from dial-up to dsl, there are some changes, even if it is
the same provider.
