Can print from Wordpad but not notepad?!?

Hi
After installing SP4 for W2k, having problems printing
from certain window apps. I can print fine from excel,
word, and wordpad, but cannot print from notepad or IE6.
The error message says that it can't find a printer. Any
ideas?
 
You might try uninstalling the printer driver and reinstalling it. Check for
updated drives as well.
 
I deleted the printer, rebooted the machine, and
reinstalled the driver, no dice. However, I installed
another printer and it prints from every app no problems.
It must be an issue with the printer (HP LJ8100N). I will
continue to troubleshoot. Anyone have any other ideas?
