Can Powerpoint 2000 do "paths"?

Is it possible to lay down a "track", and have the sprite or object
follow it? If not, could this be done with VB, or an editing utility to
create new "custom animations"?

It can't be done with PowerPoint 2000 normally , but it could be done with
vba. This is an orphan part of my website but gives vba for it.

Thanks From the looks of the code, it moves ("teleports") the sprite once,
refreshes the slide, and "teleports" it again. Still looks good.
I'm very suprised that PPT didn't have any "built in" means to move a sprite
on a track. Mario Paint (for the SNES) actualy had that feature. :O

Well, PowerPoint does do paths, from 2002 onwards. Actually, it is amazing
what PowerPoint really *does* do, of which I find out more every day. May
have to save those up for the next pptlive!
