Can Ping IP but not DOMAIN

I have a new laptop connecting wirelessly to router. I
can ping IP addresses internal and externally. But if i
try to ping msn.com it cannot resolve the name. DNS is
setup. I have pointed DNS to my router, to my ISPs DNS
servers, and to known DNS servers on the internet. This
is a work laptop and at work it is part of a domain.
When coming home I log in with the cached domain account.

can you ping the ISP dns by name? also you may want to use nslookup to check
the status of the dns.

no i can ping it by IP but not by name.

can you ping the ISP dns by name? also you may want to use nslookup to check
