Sorry this does not apply - I always get the error
message "Microsoft Outlook has encountered a problem and
needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." And
then I only have the option to "tell Microsoft about this
problem" which I have done hundreds of times, and re-start
in safe mode. Would appreciate help again! Thanks

Morning Joan,
Make sure when you start Outlook that it does not have any
commands behind it.
To start Outlook in safe mode it is path/Outlook.exe /safe
Make sure when you start Outlook it is reading only
Outlook.exe
message "Microsoft Outlook has encountered a problem and
needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." And
then I only have the option to "tell Microsoft about this
problem" which I have done hundreds of times, and re-start
in safe mode. Would appreciate help again! Thanks

For some weeks now, outlook 2002 could only be started in
safe mode. Have uploaded all updates for Win XP and Office
Pro, un-installed and re-installed, still getting the same
problem. Thanks for any help!
