Can Office XP work on a system that has Win 2000 Professional?

Certainly. That's what I have right here on my desk.

Yes, and quite nicely. I mostly use Windows XP Professional for security and
remote administration improvements, but for my money Win 2K Pro has been the
most stable OS that Microsoft has every written.

Make sure you are thoroughly patched and you should be OK.

HAve you looked at the requirements for Office XP on the Microsoft website?

That might be a bit more efficient than asking someone else to look for you.

It was not my intention that anyone do my research. Anytime I use this
service, I am hoping for response from users who have already done what I
want to do. In other words, I was hoping for response from those who are
already using 97 on XP. All responses (except yours) were from people who
were already using 97 with XP. They answered my question without research.

Didn't mean to offend you, Rick.

Thank you

Rick B, do you ever answer a question? All I see from you
is a smart @ss remark telling people to "look it up"!! If
you don't want to answer the question, then just don't
post a reply!
