Since all your dcs in the W2k domain are W2k, you can
switch to mixed mode without consequences for trusts with
NT4 domain.

I can switch the AD domain to Native mode without
affecting how the NT4 domain users access the resources of
the Ad domain. As I understand it, there is no going back.
