Ad Mixed mode vs native mode

Hi there,

Sorry to be asking such a silly question but I need a
helping hand with mixed mode and native mode of AD. I
have been told that AD needs to be in mixed mode if you
have any trusts with NT4 domains. And you can only got
to native mode if you have no NT4 trusts. Is this
correct. I thought that you only have to be in mixed
mode if you have any NT DCs running in the AD domain.

Please help.

You sure can have trusts to NT 4.0 Domains while running in native
mode (sid migration is a good example when this is necessary)

You cannot have any NT 4.0 BDC:s in a domain running native mode (as
well as many samba-servers)
