Can not start Win XP

i've received a "unmountable boot volume" message on a blue screen when
attempting to boot-up in normal or safe mode. I went to the windows support
site but didn't find the help i need.

Any help out there?

Boot to xp setup CD and press 'r' for the Recovery Console prompt, then run
the command :

CHKDSK /R
