I can not send mail in Outlook but can receive, the odd thing is that for
weeks after purchasing a new computer I could send and receive, but it just
stopped...could it be a update that I took from Microsoft? The error message
reads as follows.

IThe connection to the server has failed. Subject 'Fw: (no subject)',
Account: 'mail.gci.net', Server: 'mail.gci.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Anyone have any ideas that I can try?

Are you sure you're using Outlook? That error message looks like it
came from the Windows Mail program.

Were you sending from home when that error occurred, or on a
laptop away from home?

Which antivirus are you running? Some of them are not fully compatible
with Windows Mail.
