Can not send attachments in mail

Hello,
I am facing a strange problem, it will be really great if you can provide me
any clues on this. Problem started after I installed Microsoft Antispyware
beta version.
System configuration details:
Windows XP with SP2. Browser: IEv6. Antivirus: Norton. Firewall: Zonealaram.
I use cable net to connect with internet and usually google mail for mail
services.
Task I performed:
Installation of Microsoft Antispyware. Then scan system for spyware's and
removal of those identified. Antispyware did all this successfully and
correctly.
Problem details:
The moment this was done, I switched back to my normal work of sending mails
to freinds using IE from google mail. I was able to send plain text mails but
not able to load any attachments in mail. Internet otherwise is working fine.
I am able to browse all sites. Download all attachements in mail. Rest all
looks good. Attachment size is also not big. It is around 15KB. I tried
sending various types of files of different sizes but all invain. I even
tried all these activities from yahoo mail and hotmail, no luck.
Remedy actions, I have already tried without any success:
I uninstalled the Microsoft antispyware. Problem Persists.
Then I unistalled the firewall-Zonealarm. Problem still persists.
I disabled the antivirus-Norton. No luck again.
I unistalled and re-installed, my ISP provided client program. No use.
Then I downloaded different web browser Mozilla-Firefox. I installed this
web browser and un-installed IE. Internet is working fine even through
Mozilla, however no attachments is getting uploaded on any site through
Mozilla as well.
Then I did winsock reset using netsh command. No gain.
Then I did TCP/IP cash reset using netsh command. No improvements.
I disabled TCP/IP filtering from network properties. Waste exercise.
Finally, I restored my computer to a back date. Restore point was created
just before the installation of microsoft antispyware. And this was height of
all....
Problem is still there. I don't understand what to do know???????

Please HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks in anticipation
Rohit
