Can not open any folde r- Please help

Dear Gurus,

when I attempt to open any folder on my desktop I get the "Windows Explorer
has encountered problems and needs tro close...". I then get the message to
forward the error log to Microsoft and then the Explorer shell closes and
reopens soon after. so it is impossible to open any folder.

please advise.

To repair all system files, go to Start/Run, and type: SFC /SCANNOW
