I have not been able to get my email . Is there some kind of a problem?

The whole win mail is a problem on many levels.
I am sooooo upset, working on this for a week

There's been no Internet crash, and mail servers all over the world
are still working, but you may have a problem on *your* end.
If you need help with a specific problem, you will need to give us a
more detailed description of the problem, complete with a copy of
the error message.

You need to check the mail server's Web page for how to set it up. Use the
instructions for Outlook Express.

Above are the error messages that I am getting . Can you tell me what is
wrong?

Both error messages appear to refer to some temporary internal
problem with the mail server at charter.net. However, to rule out
trouble at your end, go through these steps:

If you have McAfee or Norton antivirus, uninstall them. Reboot,
and try WinMail again. If it still doesn't work. Add a new email
account with the same settings as your existing account. Then
delete the existing account. Restart WinMail and try it again.

If you uninstalled your antivirus program, be sure to install either
AVG or Avast, both are free. Whichever antivirus you keep, it
must be configured NOT to scan email.
