can not find lostrun.exe

Hi everytime I start up my computer, Windows XP, after loging on, but before
any icons appear on the desktop, a box comes up saying that
'C:\\WINDOWS\system32\Tools\LostRun.exe can not be found.' It does not seem
to have a affect on the computer. Can anyone help? Should I ignore it as
everything runs ok?

Hi Tone,

LostRun.exe is not a Windows file and it may be a malware-related file that
has been removed but the entry (perhaps in the registry) calling for it to
load at startup still remains. Since you may also have remnants of other
malware, I would highly recommend registering and posting at a forum that is
dedicated to malware information and removal. Here are a few that you could
