Can no longer send messages with medium-size attachments from Outl

I have Outlook 2007 : Vista operating system

Messages with medium size attachments (e.g. 2MB) won't send and get stuck in
the Outbox. but I know they should NOT be too large. My ISP (charter) gives
me 10MB and they tested my account.

I used to be able to send this size attachment. I don't know why it's
changed. I have not been messing with any advanced settings of any kind.

PLEASE HELP. I need to be able to send many of this size files and I do NOT
want to send from a web-based email.

THANKS!

If you scan your email with an antivirus scanner, uninstall your antivirus
program and reinstall it without the mail scanning feature.

Thank you for responding. I did not do any of the installing of software on
this computer. I think Best Buy loaded "Trend." How would I check to see if
there is anything else on there I need to get rid of?

Also, I am concerned about knowing how to answer any questions I am prompted
for during reinstall. I do not consider myself computer-savvy. Should I
simply accept all defaults except the one for scanning email?

This is so frustrating! Thanks for being willing to help.

I'm personally unfamiliar with Trend. Perhaps the installation guide that
came with the software can help with your question.
