can i write data on dvd using imapi

Hi all,

I m trying to write dvd using imapi provided by microsoft, but its
giving some exceptions.
if anybody knows code to write dvd using imapi, plz let me know or send
some other alternate code to write data on dvd

AFAIK, you need a third-party program to write to DVD. I use Nero. Roxio
is another well-known maker of burning software.

CDBurnerXP Pro will do it and is free (Requires .Net framework or
the .Net Runtime to use):

Please note that Microsoft has not enabled DVD writing in XP. You will need
to locate third party software to write DVDs. Nero and Roxio Easy Media
Creator "seem" to be the "front-leaders" in such software.
