Can I use Windows 2000 for networking purposes

Hi all, first post.
I am looking to network 2 computers at the office. We
currently are using Win 98 but I have to upgrade in order
to use another vendor app. Can I use Windows 2000 to set
up networking or do I need the Windows 2000 Server for
networking?

You can create workgroups with Win 2000 Pro, just like
with NT and 9x

yes you can use windows 200 pro,

i use it to network my three pcs and our printer, and
i've never had any problms.
