Can I use Outlook on 2 networked desktops and read mail on both?

I have Outlook 98 configured on one desktop to receive my email. We just
purchased a second desktop running XP and Office 2003. The two desktops are
networked together. I'd like to be able to read email from either machine
but leave the mail resident on the old computer. Can I set up Outlook on the
new machine and synchronize?

I have a separate email account configured in Outlook Express on the old
machine. Can I do the same thing for this account?

When you set up the accounts, choose "Leave a copy of email on server" so the
messages will be available on both computers. Or you can designate one to
download all the mail and the other to leave on server. But if you use the
downloading computer first, the mail will not be there for the other. You can
do the same for OE, but if you use Outlook more often, set both OE accts to
leave the mail on the server. Make sure to select a date to delete mail so
the server doesn't get clogged. Choose Delete after _x_ days.
