Hi All,

On booting a windows2000 laptop I get the dreaded ntoskrnl.exe
file is missing or corrupt message.

I have tried out captive on a working laptop, but I believe it
needs the ntfs.sys and ntoskrnl.exe files in order to work.

So, what is / are my alternatives here?

Is there any other way besides using a windows recovery disk
(because i dont want to use that)

thanks

D

Pull the drive out and put it in another computer.
