Can I upgrade W2k Server w/sp4 to W2k Advanced Server w/sp4?

I am attempting to upgrade a Windows 2000 Server W/sp4 to
Windows 2000 Advanced Server W/sp4 and the install
(winnt32.exe) is telling me Windows 2000 setup does not
support this function.

How can I complete this install without doing a New
Installation?

You can't.

There is no supported upgrade/downgrade between any 2 Win 2k operating
systems.

You can fool your server, if you would change
HKLM/SYSTEM/CCS/Control/ProductOptions/ProductType from 'servernt' to
'lanmannt', then reinstall.

I am agree in common, but I have made it.
As to my suggesting, it depends whom you try to help. I believe no-one real
Admin takes suggestions from NG w/o investigation or seriously (otherwise
it'd be like patching your system from unknown source); it's just a brain
refresh, a light at the tunnel end... Put simply, it's additional knowledge,
nothing more. And I didn't explain the whole trick
Frankly, I wouldn't bother to suggest Ryan, but your reply, Danny, starts
with words "You can't" and it starts very hard
