Can I stop confirmation popup windows?

It annoys me greatly that windows assumes I have the intelligence of a
clam. Is there some way to turn off those confirmation windows "are
you sure you want to"? If I didn't want to I wouldn't have tried to.

Any one that says "are you sure you want to". The one that jumps to
mind is the delete confirmation box.
