Can I set Task dependencies?

I know that I can use Project to have tasks with dependencies on the
completion of other tasks, but can I do this in Outlook?

I just want to be able to say "This task is dependent on that task/those
tasks"

....And preferably to have Outlook tell me the top of the dependency tree, IE
the task that needs to be done first, in order to be able to complete other
tasks. It would also be nice to be able to see what other tasks depend on the
current one.

Any answer would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Thanks for the response Sue.

Unfortunately it's not an app supported or endorsed by the company, so I'm
not allowed to install it... Not that I feel like parting with yet more
cash...

It's a shame because it wouldn't be hard to implement the feature...
Microsoft? Are you listening? :)

Not hard? Are you kidding? Dependencies would be quite complicated to manage.

If you want to send Microsoft a suggestion, you can use their web interface for this group to post a suggestion. They don't read regular Q&As.
