Can I recover Outlook calendar & contacts when profile was lost?

It seems my profile was corrupted due to something that went wrong when I was
logging out. When I try to enter under that username, I get an unconfigured
account. I created another account and tried to move items into it. However,
I can't seem to recover the MS Outlook contacts and calendar. Where is that
data located and how can I recover things?

Of course, if I can recover the profile, that would be even better. I am
running Windows XP and Outlook is 2003.
