I had an issue with my computer and experienced the "blue screen of death",
and the ensuing "beginning dump of physical memory" message.

subsequently, i lost my entire profile, and all of my email, contacts and
calendar from Outlook 2003.

I was able to recover my email, but am hitting a dead end trying to find and
recover my contacts and calendar.

any suggestions?

thanks,

Which method of recovery did you use? It's all kept in the same pst-file.

I simply found the file in the hidden files, then copied them to another
location. then i created a "new" personal folder and opened it up in outlook
so it showed up at the bottom of my folders list in outlook.

then i just copied all of my old folders into the new inbox.

From the sounds of it, there's a better way to do this?

You made a good start. Switch to the Folder List view and verify that your
Contacts and Calendar are also in the secondary pst-file.
You can indeed copy the content to a new pst-file but you can also set it as
the default delivery location in your Account configuration and then you
have to copy a thing ;-)

thanks. you got a bit ahead of me talkign about the secondary pst file.
should this be in the same location? is it called secondary pst file?

That is your second folder set at the bottom you mentioned earlier.
