Can I recover deleted profile files?

When deleting a user profile, my son did not save the files. All photos of my
grandaughter 3-5 mos were lost. My daughter-in-law was going to put them on a
disc at 6 mos. Tisk tisk. Can anyone help her get them back? She can see the
thumbnails, but when she clicks on them it says file not found.

Stop using the computer until data recovery is attempted. Here are some
software tools. There are other methods up to a data recovery service
which can cost quite a bit.
