Can I migrate autofill contacts in Outlook to a new machine?

My laptop blue screened - crashed. I hope to migrate the autofill email
addresses in Outlook to the replacement machine. Our exchange server held my
contacts, etc... but the autofill email addresses is the only piece I'm
missing. Is the .NK2 file on my server, or on the local machine? Is this
where the autofill names are stored? Is there anyway to migrate the autofill
info. to my new local machine? Hope my display name doesn't disgust
anyone... it always seems to be unique.

Found the answer in a previous posting. The .NK2 file is the ticket. The
trick in finding the file - you have to go to the advanced search options and
search hidden files.

The file will have a *.nk2 extension and it is located in
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

To copy it to the new computer, follow these steps:
Copy the *.nk2 file from the old computer to the new computer and save
it to the desktop
Open Outlook on the new computer
Rename the old *.nk2 file located in C:\Documents and
Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook to *.OLD
Copy over the new *.nk2 file to :\Documents and
Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook (make sure the
file names are the same)
When you open Outlook and create a new message, the autocomplete
entries should appear.

I hope this helps.
