Can I merge an old PST file with a new one created when I reinsta.

My computer crashed and I had to reinstall Outlook...it took me a couple of
days to find the old PST file on the back up disk. Now I have an old and a
new PST file. Can I merge them? If no, how do I activate the old one and
copy the new file into the old PST file?

I had a similar problem recently. What I did was point Outlook to one pst
file (the smaller one) and then exported that data to Outlook Express. Once
you do that, point Outlook to the other pst file and then import your data
from Outlook Express. I'm not sure if there is an easier way but that is
what I did and it worked out fine!
