Can I make my page with a flash start playing automatically?

I have a video on a slide. It's the only thing on the slide and I want it to
start playing as soon as the slide is displayed in a slide show. Is that
possible?

What currently happens?
What version of PPT are you using?
Is the flash file a .swf?
