Can I "lock" a hyperlink?

I have a Word document that lists various safety forms -- to be the core document of our safety manual "on-line". OK, so I inserted hyperlinks on each form title which would open that form in its .pdf format. That would be all well and good, but it's just too darn easy to edit a hyperlink. And, if someone were to right-click and choose to edit that hyperlink, then he/she would have access to everything on my drive. If they saw a document title that piqued their curiosity, they could just change the hyperlink to go to that document, then open it. No-no-no, not good. IS THERE A WAY TO LOCK OR SOMEHOW PROTECT A HYPERLINK SUCH AS THIS?
