Can I keep a copy of Comcast webmail after I download mail to Outl

I'm using MS Outlook with Office 2003 (standard edition, I believe) with my
laptop. When I'm away from home each day I like to retrieve my e-mail using
Oulook, downloading it from my Comcast webmail server.

Works great sending and recieving and it's very convienient (for me, at
least)... but my wife and I share our e-mail address. Outlook deletes all
the e-mail on my Comcast server once it's dowloaded into Oulook... so when my
wife's goes to check mail at home, it's gone.

Is there a way I can keep a copy of downloaded e-mails on my Comcast webmail
server after I download mail to Outlook?

Assuming that you have a POP/SMTP account, follow these steps to leave a
copy of each message on the server:
a) On the Tools menu, click E-mail accounts.
b) Select View or change existing e-mail accounts, and then click Next.
c) Under Name, select the POP3 account you want to change, and then
click Change.
d) Click More Settings.
e) Click the Advanced tab, and then under Delivery, select the Leave a
copy of messages on the server check box.
f) You can also select whether to automatically remove messages from
your e-mail server after a specified number of days, when you delete the
item on your computer, or when the Deleted Items folder is emptied.
These settings may help prevent you from exceeding the mailbox size
limit amount your ISP has set.

Alternatively you could ask your ISP if they support IMAP accounts; this
way all messages are always left on the server.
