Well nonny numbass I guess that makes two of us. You were apparently
monitoring the same old message too. Thanks for being an idiot with me!

You're clueless. Those of us using real newsreaders get all the new
messages automatically - even the stupid-assed ones from vBulletin
users like you. When one like yours comes in with NO reference
material, I often go to Google Groups and look it up to see wtf it's
about. That's where I see how numbnuts like you are posting to old
threads.
Why do dipsticks like you bother sending your vitriole when it is
unnecessary in the first place. Does it make you feel like "da man?

Hopefully it will keep idiots like you from repeating your dumb
mistakes. What I enjoy the most is that I think your little board
sends you an email when you get a reply, so I know you'll see this.

How about your vitriole, Mr. CBritton?
It's no better than anyone else's.

But to answer the OP:

The answer is "Yes, MAYBE".

It really depends on:
1) The CPU you have installed, its speed and type (i.e., "You
absolutely NEED a Dual Core Intel CPU".)
2) The amount of memory you have installed, and whether or not it is
fast enough. (i.e., "you need a MINIMUM of 1gb of 667MHz memory
installed as DUAL-CHANNEL -- preferably 2gb-4gb of dual-channel memory
@ 667MHz").
3) The graphics chip, its speed, and the amount of graphics memory
there is on the board. (i.e., "you need a graphics card which is
DirectX9c-compatible, and has at least 256mb of onboard graphics
memory".)
4) And last but certainly not least, you need a Windows premium
version of Vista (i.e., "Vista Home Premium or Vista Ultimate
Edition").

This will allow one to run the Vista Aero GUI comfortably, otherwise,
you will only be able to use the Vista Basic GUI -- no "Glass", etc --
basically, just a fancier-looking Windows XP, but without the Aero
Interface.

NOW, with that said, it will run on a weaker machine, but I definitely
would NOT try to run it on a machine which does not meet the
Microsoft-suggested minimum requirements. Otherwise, it will be
slugggish and practically useless for anything but basic word
processing. I definitely would not put it on an entry-level XP
machine older than 2 years.
