Can I install 2 XP Pros on 2 partitions?

I have XP Pro full retail (single lic. upgrade ed)...can I install it again
on a second partition so that I have a safe place where I can test beta
products?
Failing that, I suppose I could install my old XP Home SP2 there?

i use norton goback for testing programs, it has a
facility built-in for it. i have also used ms
virtual pc, so you can then network both systems
together.
& to answer your question, i have installed 2
copies on 2 partitions, though i found seperate
hard drives the best, then chang cmos settings
before booting.

Well I just read this: From the Windows XP EULA:

1.1 Installation and use. You may install, use, access,
display and run one copy of the Software on a single
computer, such as a workstation, terminal or other
device ("Workstation Computer"). The Software may not
be used by more than two (2) processors at any one
time on any single Workstation Computer.

Please read your End-User License Agreement by going
to Start > Run and type: WINVER , and hit enter. Then
click on "End-User License Agreement".

If you already have a retail copy of Windows XP, you can obtain
additional licenses for another computer or laptop by visiting the
following Microsoft Web site:
http://shop.microsoft.com/special/wal/walinfo.asp

($184.00!!)

I also realised that I can't use my XP Home SP2 either, because it is OEM
and was used as the upgrade eligibility in this installation too.
