can i delete sp1 and sp3 updates i have sp2 system

Yes, I replied to his first message and then told him not to post 2
times on the 2nd one. I'm fully aware of it.

My logic is he might not know how to track one message from another and
is inept at newsreader usage. And it might be better to respond to both.
I have to wonder about people who post the same question 2 times.
Sorry, it's in my nature.

descriptive w 2nd post...didn't mean to offend anyone

pcbutts , I am new to this computer thing so plz. bare w me. when
downloading ms updates i downloaded sp1 and sp3 updates there many of them
on my computer and i was wanting to know
1. do i need them
2. should i delete them since i have sp2
3. will they harm or slow down my laptops functions

Just a small ruler across your knuckles. No harm. And yes, when you
post here its probably better to give too much info then to be short
with info. If you read messages a while, responders are always having
to ask for more info like "what program", "what file" or such.

Wilber: You say there are many of them. I want to make sure I don't
lead you in the wrong direction. If you downloaded those big 300Meg
SP1 and SP3 files and install them, then you are fine to remove them.
If you are talking about any other "updates" then don't follow my
suggestion!!!
