Get an IMAP e-mail account which is designed to provide multiple user
access (like you from home and you while travelling and your spouse from
her job and ...). POP3 is not designed for multiple access. You can
configure your e-mail to leave messages on the POP3 server but then
you're stuck having to manage them and hopefully not deleting them
before whoever is sharing that mailbox gets to read them.
