can hear the sound but not see the picture of .AVI files.

That .AVI files was converted from .swf by some converting program,,

I installed the codecs like xvid, Divx so I was able to play the AVI files
in Windows
media player ( could see pictures and hear sounds).

but in Window Movie Maker , When I was trying to play the AVI file , I
couldn't see the pictures of it.

I really wanna solve this by means of your help..!!

It may be because the DV codec in your
system has gone astray...

I think the conversion made it a divx or xvid avi file, as the OP had to
install these codecs to get it to play.
This type of file does not work with MM, convert the swf to a wmv file.
