Can fonts be "embedded" in Access?

<crossing fingers> I was at another station at work yesterday other
than my own when I printed off an Excel spreadsheet. Since fonts
can't be embedded within Excel templates, unlike Word ones as you all
probably know, the report came out awful so I had to wait till I was
back at my own station at the end of the day before I could print a
proper copy of the report.

Got to wondering if I'd have the same trouble with Access reports.
Hoping that it's possible to package the font with the db and not
externally to the front and back ends, preferably "embedded". Just a
thought and figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. Can this be done?

Thanks! :blush:D

You can't embed the font into the mdb file, but if you're using a Developer
Edition to package your application for installation, you can include a font
in that package.

Provided you have the rights to distribute it?

Many fonts are protected by stringent licensing requirements.

Thanks for the info. I tend to use freeware ones anyway, so that
wouldn't have been a problem, necessarily. I don't have the Developer
edition, though, so that would be a problem. <g>
